MEET JEANNIE JARNOT
Jeannie Jarnot

Project Blue Beauty helped bring awareness to dozens of new brands and initiatives, including innovations in low and zero-waste packaging, up cycled ingredients, and recycling programs.

2022 marked a watershed moment for Blue Beauty, as it evolved from ‘project’ status to a separate entity with a platform that makes it easy to discover, learn about and trust the world’s most ethical beauty and personal care brands.

Before ‘clean and green beauty’ became buzzy, Jeannie Jarnot created Beauty Heroes to bring healthy beauty to the mainstream. Her commitment to ethical sourcing, sustainability and quality made Jeannie the industry standard-bearer on ingredient integrity. As her knowledge and passion deepened, Jeannie recognized that ethical beauty meant more than sustainable ingredients and packaging. It was a business model, and it required measurable, actionable, and achievable criteria at every point along the supply chain.

Feeling called to have this deeper conversation, Jeannie pioneered Project Blue Beauty in 2018, a platform under Beauty Heroes that shined a spotlight on blue beauty brands who were minimizing their footprint and working towards environmental regeneration.
